The New York Appreciative Inquiry Special Interest Group (NYASIG) was formed through the Organizational Development Network of Greater New York on December 15, 2004.
The NYASIG is a supportive community of practitioners and individuals who are bringing more strength/asset-based approaches into New York City Businesses, Communities, Schools, Not-For-Profits and any other organizations in need of creating greater connection, communication, collaboration and innovation. Our purpose is to serve as a learning/growth community to explore and apply the Appreciative Inquiry Philosophical Approach, as well as, its tools. We also include other associated approaches to positive/collaborative change and transformation such as Open Space, Future Search, and other related topics.
It is a self-organizing community which meets approximately every 6 weeks. To be included in the meeting announcements, or for more information about the group or Appreciative Inquiry, please send an e-mail to Denise Lalonde at dlalondeny@aol.com.
