Mentoring Success

Registration is closed for this event

Many of us think we already know what a mentor is and how a mentor can help us in our development. Some of us have had a mentor who truly made a difference for us. Some of us have not.

Although, the concept of mentoring has long been acknowledged and valued, research suggests mutually beneficial mentoring relationships happen far less frequently than they might. Ever wonder why? Want to learn more about those relationships and learn behaviors that can increase the frequency of great mentoring relationships?

ODNNY in partnership with Milano The New School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy is pleased to announce their September kick-off event for the 2013 - 2014 program year, “Mentoring Success.” Join us as Dr. Neil Yeager and ODNNY Board Member and mentoring program coordinator Dora Graye lead us in an exploration of mentoring at a deeper level. Learn what both mentors and mentees can do to really have a successful mentoring relationship. It might not be what you think!

ODNNY will also be announcing their new mentoring program which will begin this fall!

In this event you will:

  • Learn what successful mentoring really looks like
  • Understand what both the mentor and the mentee need to bring to the relationship to get the most out of it
  • Find out about ODNNY's new mentoring program before it launches
  • Connect and network with potential future mentors and mentees
