Board Member Biography - Patricia Gorton

Patricia Gorton is the Director of Global Leadership and Talent Development at Depository Trust and Clearning Corporation (DTCC) where she has spent the last eight years leading learning, organizational development and change projects for the organization.  She focuses on performance enhancing solutions for employees whether for targeted groups in a leadership program or for individuals engaging in activities that drive their development such as mentoring, learning and coaching. 

She joined the company in 2008 from Citi where she spent seven years there as an SVP in both marketing and business development roles for their global payments, online banking and credit card divisions.  Prior to Citi, she was the founder of an online retailer that had an IPO that raised $90 million with backing from GE Capital, Intel and Accenture.  This business background is the commercial lens from which she drives behavioral and organizational change at DTCC.  She can deliver global, scalable solutions that are cost effective, results oriented and well-designed that delivers business results.

Tricia graduated with an honors degree in Economics from the University of Rochester and received her MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.  While at Michigan, she won an innovation award voted by the student body and was one of three who spoke at commencement. 

Described by her colleagues as a thought leader, she has presented at numerous conferences sharing her best practices such as step by step, change management model for creating learning solutions,  two blended learning formats to increased skill transfer and a coaching circles model for senior leaders.  She leverages her marketing background to support creative methods and learning formats and facilitation that guides and engages the audience toward impactful change.
