Board Member Biography: Suzanne Young

Suzanne is a management consultant and executive coach with a unique blend of business experience, technology management, and organizational development training.  She is the founder and President of FTS Strategics, LLC which specializes in leadership coaching, change management, and career counseling.  With her excellent interpersonal communication skills, she successfully promotes productive teams, builds key alliances, enhances cross-functional team relationships and delivers high impact results to her clients.  She empowers individuals to excel in their careers and personal lives.

Prior to founding FTS Strategics, LLC, Suzanne held various management roles over a 13 year career with McKinsey & Company, Inc. managing global high profile projects including IT Change Management, Y2K compliance, and Crisis and Security Management to name a few.  It could be stated that she “grew up in corporate America” having worked for Loral Corporation, Towers Perrin, PepsiCo, and IBM over the course of her career.

Suzanne graduated summa cum laude from NYU with a BA in Organizational Behavior and Communications, and holds certifications from NYU in Career Planning and Development, Executive and Organizational Coaching, and Personal and Life Coaching.  She is also a certified MBTI Practitioner and has training in Emotional Intelligence.
