Board Member Biography: Annie Merkle

 Annie Merkle

Since founding The AMI Solution, Inc. in 2001, Annie Merkle has helped clients develop and implement solutions that clarify their business goals, simplify the process to achieve those goals, and align, develop and motivate people in the work they do. A management consultant and business leader, Annie has extensive experience working with the pharmaceutical, financial services and higher education industries providing expertise in organization effectiveness and change management. Her specializations include leadership development, organization assessment, organization strategy, facilitation, and program design. She works with senior leaders in Fortune 100 companies, universities, non-profit organizations and start-ups. 

Prior to founding AMI, Annie was vice president of corporate development at TechSpace, where she led the development of a business support infrastructure to help incubate start-up tech companies. Previously, she was a senior consultant with Ernst & Young’s business transformation consulting practice and an account manager with Powercom-2000. Annie began her career with FedEx in their information technology division and served as a trainer, business analyst, international project manager, and change management specialist.
